Severnprint are undertaking a massive refurbishment of our offices and factory but in a more interesting way than usual.
The idea to completely refurbish the building in an environmentally conscious way was born late last year when we expanded into the neighbouring unit. Architects with environmental expertise were employed to suggest some ideas on how to best refurbish the existing buildings whilst introducing environmentally conscious practices.
It's all started with a new roof including sheep's wool insulation and lights which will activate according to the amount of natural sunlight in the room. If there is enough natural light the electric lights will remain off.
Watch this space for details on other environmental initiatives that will be included in the new offices....
