    Danny is the face of Severn to the early morning delivery drivers. Working in the goods inwards Danny issues the paper and other materials to jobs while also looking after the goods in stock.

  • Jan WherretPrint Finisher

    Jan ensures that those really tricky finishing jobs look as they were designed to. Jan works on mailing and fulfilment too - both mechanised mailing machines and tricky hand insertions.

  • John DrakeDelivery Driver

    John is not often in the factory – briefly glimpsed in the morning and late afternoons. Between times he and fellow driver Paddy Osborne are delivering jobs locally or larger items further afield.

    John is guillotine specialist at Severn – working on traditional and personalised print items. Most require some guillotine work and John’s attention to detail in checking how a job is supposed to fold or bind before cutting is crucial to the success of many print projects.

  • Kamil, bindary specialist at Severn Printers in Gloucester
    Kamil KaletaBindery Specialist

    Kamil Kaleta joins Severn also as a bindery specialist, principally looking after the machines that produce the many folding options the company offers and also various binding machines. Kamil has been in the printing industry since leaving school, even while at school spent one day a week in a local printing company as part of his training.

    Kate’s usual response to a plea for help on a design issue is ‘I am really busy but I will see what I can do’. Kate often responds in a short while with an idea that hits the mark and makes you think ‘Now why didn’t I think of that?’

    Lyndon is a director of Severnprint LImited and production manager he looks after, coaxes and guides all the production taking place in the factory, from pre-press to despatch, across all of the print business areas.

    Richard Parker is a bindery specialist with many years of experience in the industry and has joined to streamline the trimming and finishing of the printed sheets from the company’s new HUV printing press. Richard lives in the Forest of Dean.

    Shane joined Severn in 1999 as an apprentice print finisher under the BPIF training programme and has since become expert in all of the finishing machinery helped by a training course in Germany for training on our specialist stitching line.

    Simon is a director of Severprint Limited he also has an important role in the sales office looking after several large local and national companies from well known manufacturing companies to direct mail agencies and charities.

    Stacey is one of the team in the finishing part of the operation and is a mailing specialist – making sure that the items are folded and bound and get to where they are supposed to. Stacey is often called in to help in despatch when the pressure is on and sometimes calls upon the services of her Mum – Jill.

    Stefan is a digital print specialist making traditional digital print and personalised print projects happen. From a PDF and an Excel file Stefan transforms digital data into a stack of personalised print.

    Steve has recently joined Severn as an Account Manager. Steve is a print specialist with an appreciation of the importance of delivering exceptional service and results.

    Sue is a director of SevernPprint Limited. She is responsible for planning, imposing, scheduling and organising the work for production are some of the many tasks performed by Sue in the Production office. Negotiating with outwork suppliers and paper merchants to ensure best quality to meet deadlines takes a lot of knowledge and experience.
