Tree Aid - progress with helping support their valuable work

Tree Aid is a hardworking charity based in Bristol and working in the areas of Africa shown on the map.

Severnprint has helped Tree Aid with donations raised through the SylvaPack scheme since 2001 and in this time we have raised over £20,000(breaking through this barrier earlier this year) from customers that have specified the SylvaPack environmental print route.

The money raised is used by Tree Aid to support individual projects in the countries shown. Tree nurseries are established and the local communities are encouraged to use the trees to produce items for sale, for food production, for fuel and as shade for livestock and communities. We all benefit from these trees too as they help to combat desertification and capture carbon dioxide.

The donations are sent quarterly and Tree Aid advise us of how the projects are progressing. The latest donation was used to
support the Trees for Life project in Mali supporting project Ma093. Find out more by going to the Tree Aid website

Please continue to support Tree Aid by asking, when you next specify a print job, for it to be printed using the SylvaPack print route. Providing the paper is either recycled or FSC certified and if the binding methods do not prevent further recycling then the job will be printed as a SylvaPack job and triggers a donation to Tree Aid.
